Enclosed Quarter Deck
As with the forecastle, the quarterdeck is also enclosed to reduce the ship's radar cross section (RCS).
Positive air pressure is maintained within the hull. Air is purified and recycled. Naturally the ship's main compartments are smoke-free zones. The q'deck is a popular area where smokers can enjoy a cigarette.
