SA Navy Prestige Golf Day

The annual
Western Cape SA Navy Prestige Golf Day was hosted at
Clovelly Golf Club on 12 October 2012. This annual event
acts as a platform for the participating members of the
SA Navy (SAN) and members of companies providing
services for SAN to interact in a social and relaxed
environment.

The day was
hosted by Chief Director Maritime Strategy, R Adm B.H.
Teuteberg on behalf of Chief of the South African Navy,
V Adm J. Mudimu who unfortunately could not attend the
prestigious event. The format of the competition was
American Scramble where a total of 33 teams competed
on the 18-hole par 72 golf course.
After a
challenging day on the fairways, the participants
enjoyed refreshments whilst reflecting on the days play
before the prize giving was held at the Clovelly Country
Club.
