A Diplomatic Reception was hosted onboard PNS MOAWIN on 20 October 2010. The reception was attended by the Chief Whip of the Ethekwini Municipality and the Pakistani High Commissioner. R Adm (JG) P.T. Duze represented Chief of the SA Navy.

The Pakistani ships were open to the public and the local community turned out in numbers to view these beautiful vessels. Friendships were forged and, for others, old friendships renewed.
