Members from the Korean Navy paid a visit on board SAS AMATOLA on Friday 20 August 2010. On arrival the visiting group enjoyed a very enlightening presentation by Lt Cdr D Jones.

This was an opportunity for the guests to interact and discuss the similarities as well as differences between the South African and Korean Navy. In the presentation Lt Cdr Jones explained the gunnery system on board and also elaborated on the exercises that the ship has participated in.

After the presentation the group was then given a tour inside the frigate, on completion of the tour the Korean XO exchanged gifts with the Officer Commanding SAS AMATOLA Capt M.A. Girsa.
