Participating in community projects and events is
imperative as it enhances the image of the organisation.

SALDANHA continued to make the presence of SA Navy felt
on the West Coast, by participating in an annual family
day hosted by Saldanha Primary School on Friday, 06 Nov
09.
The Fire
Department represented the unit at the event and was
given as a slot at 12:00 for a demonstration. The day’s
activities commenced at 09:30 and were thoroughly
enjoyed by the children, especially when they were
sprayed with foam and they ended up sliding on the
grass.

for pictures with their heroes and enjoyed interaction.
