Nigerian medical delegation visits SA Navy Headquarters

On Monday 9 November 2009, the Nigerian Medical Delegation lead by Commodore (Cdre) T.G.S. Espelle together with Cdre A.S. Bira, Cdre B.A. Sani, Cdre A. Aja and Capt (NN) A.K. Elujoba paid a goodwill visit to the SA Navy accompanied by R Adm (JG) E. Ratala and Capt (SAN) R.B. Warrin. The delegation arrived in South Africa on Sunday, 8 November, and will be visiting Simon’s Town.

R Adm G. Mphafi, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) and the Navy Staff Council on behalf of Chief of the SA Navy received the delegation. R Adm (JG) S.L. Pillay briefed the delegation on the capabilities and plans of the SA Navy.  The delegation were afforded the opportunity to ask questions, to enhance their understanding of the SA Navy.
