The SA Navy is in the process of
filling 182 vacant PSAP (civilian) posts on its
establishment. In order to make vacancies accessible to
the general public these vacancies were advertised in
the Cape Times on the 23 March 2009 with the closing
date of 29 April 2009. These vacancies are
simultaneously advertised within the Department of
Defence and the wider Public Service with the
application closing date being 29 April 2009.
Take Note
Applicants are to ensure that their
application packages comply with the documentation
compliance requirements stipulated on the advert cover
page. Failure to do so will result in disqualification
of application.
Units who collect applications on
behalf of unit personnel are to make sure all
applications are handed in on or before the application
closing date. Failure to do so will result in
disqualification of applications.
Drop off points for application submissions are as
follows:
Collection boxes have been placed
at the reception desk at Cole Point gate at Simon’s Town
Dockyard entrance,
at DFHR main entrance’s reception desk, and
at Osvlo Building (HR specialist service building), main
road Simon’s Town.
The postal address stipulated
on the adverts is available for use, being
SA Navy, Fleet Command HQ, Private Bag X1 Simon's Town,
7995, attention Mrs M Kau.
* Personnel are encouraged to make
copies of the
advert flyer and
Z83 for
distribution/posting within their communities. All
supervisors are required to make copies of the relevant
adverts for posting on notice boards within the unit.
