The SA Navy Military Skills Development intake is open from mid Jan to end February each year for the following calendar year intake. During that period, application forms will be available on this site and advertised in leading national newspapers. During this period, Matriculants may submit an interim statement of results as part of the application process and must have passed Mathematics (not mathematics literacy) and Science.

Job Shadow in Western Cape

Grade 11 Learners may apply by submitting a private letter of application signed by parents or legal guardian, as well as a formal letter of application from the his/her school a minimum of 3 weeks prior to visit. Letter must state intended date, area of exposure required, confirmation that member has Maths and Science as subjects in addition to a short motivation as to why member wishes to pursue a
